The Chicago White Sox played better baseball after starting the season 3-22, going 11-8. However, the club has returned to earth , losing the first four games of a two-city, six-game road trip. The Pale Hose pitching had a rough Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays, resulting in a six-run loss.
The game started well despite Andrew Benintendi's second-inning double play when the Sox put together a two-out rally. Korey Lee drove in the game's first run with a single to center.

Paul DeJong, who singled and stole second, scored on the play. Lee reached third on Nicky Lopez's base hit.
However, the Blue Jays cut down Lee at home plate on an attempted double steal. The South Siders' four hits in the frame resulted in just one run.
Unfortunately, the White Sox' one-run lead didn't hold for long. Dalton Varsho belted a two-out, two-run homer off Sox starter Erick Fedde in the bottom of the second. The Jays expanded their lead in their third with doubles by Kevin Kiermaier and Danny Jansen. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s base hit scored Jansen from second.
The White Sox managed to get a run back in the fourth when Paul DeJong's RBI single scored Gavin Sheets, who led off the inning with a double.
Toronto added another run off Fedde in the sixth when Guerrero Jr. walked and scored from first on Bo Bichette's double. The Sox starter retired the side in the sixth to end a tough afternoon where he allowed five earned runs on seven hits and a walk in six innings.
DeJong added a solo homer at the top of the seventh to cut the deficit to two runs.

The South Siders were still within striking distance with the score 5-3 until their relief staff put together a forgettable performance. Chicago's bullpen, which allowed only four earned runs in its previous 31 innings, surrendered just as many in two innings of work on Monday.
Dominic Leone, pitching for the first time since May 5, recorded the first two outs in the seventh. Davis Schneider doubled, and Jordan Leasure relieved the veteran. Jansen greeted Leasure with a homer to left to extend Toronto's lead to four.
Jansen drove in two more runs with a two-out, bases-loaded single in the eighth off of lefty Tim Hill.
The White Sox promoted two prospects, Noah Schultz and Jacob Gonzalez, to their Double-A affiliate in Birmingham.
Chicago made some roster moves before the game, activating reliever Dominic Leone off the injured list and designating starting pitcher Brad Keller for assignment. The White Sox' 40-man roster currently sits at 39.
The White Sox look to snap their four-game losing streak on Tuesday with Garrett Crochet on the bump. The big lefty will face Toronto's Yusei Kikuchi. First pitch is at 6:07 PM CT and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago.
