Dan Le Batard is highly questionable?
Why would you ever watch a program with such a weird name? Who names a show that? What does that title even mean?
Those are the important questions of the day. While I don't necessarily have answers to all of those questions, I do recommend you watch the show.
A long time sports columnist for the Miami Herald, Le Batard is hilarious on his daily ESPN2 sports talk TV program. As his elderly father, affectionately known on the program as Papi, asks the questions, Le Batard puts his acerbic wit to the test and skewers the world of sports for a half an hour every afternoon.
Le Batard, also a sports radio personality, is entirely comfortable in front of the camera as he confronts the worlds of the MLB, NBA and NFL. He is adept at mocking the Raiders and the Red Sox and the Rockets. And he'll laugh at himself along the way, too.
The episodes' intriguing questions and the host's sarcastic answers make for a fast-paced and fun program. And you learn a lot about your favorite teams, too.
I would offer a word of caution to parents. Language is sometimes bleeped and the humor can be mature, so I would not recommend this program for younger sports fans.
But if you are an avid sports fan and find yourself questioning how to spend 30 minutes, don't question the choice to view Dan Le Betard is highly questionable.
